Outside press long fix cap (set cap), the key node for strengthening the flat roof net house and anti-hail net structure

DJ-105 Outside Press Long Fix Cap: Same as DJ-103, but the fix cap body is longer. This type of cap has a length of 15 cm and is available in only one size. It is suitable for 1 1/4" to 1 1/2" strut pipes. We use it as the bamboo strut fix cap.

In general, the net of flat net house is out over the fix caps, the net of anti-hail net structure is under the upper cover of the fix caps, sandwiched between two crossed steel wires. 

The fix caps secure the crossed ropes or wires to the top of the strut iron pipes. The ropes or wires securely connect the strut iron pipes to each other to form the skeleton of the flat roof net house and the anti-hail net structure. Therefore, the fix caps must be strong enough to form a solid structure.

DEAR DEER fix caps have 2 designs:

1. DIY fix cap

This design fixes the rope or wire well. Simply screw a top cover to the lower body of the fix cap set. 

This type includes DJ-101A, DJ-101B, DJ-102. These three types of bodies have different top covers, but the lower body is the same. Sizes are 1", 1 1/4", 1 1/2", 2", 2 1/2", 3".

2. Stainless steel screw fix cap

This design uses two stainless steel screws to secure the wire. To fix the wire, we use a disc to press the wire against the top wall of the fixed cap from external or internal. The top of this design is flat. This increases the contact area with the top net. Therefore, when the wind blows the net, the friction of the top net will not concentrate on only a small area. That can make the net less likely to be wear and tear. 

This type includes DJ-103, DJ-104, DJ-105. The size of the lower body covered on iron pipes includes 1", 1 1/4", 1 1/2", 2", 2 1/2", 3".

Set cap or said fix cap is the pivotal component to link pillars and roof wires or ropes. The set cap must be strong and durable enough to support the roof of net house and tighten wires or ropes firmly to resist strong wind. Also it must be UV resistant for using long period. The most import for building flat roof net house is the set caps must be smooth for net slipping on them. They can protect roof net not to be damaged when wind move net and friction with the caps.

Flat roof net house is a simple, easy, quick and low-cost way to build a net house. Its structure is like a big mosquito net on a pillars array.
The steps to construct are simple as follows:﹕

1. Dig caves on ground, space around 5m each cave, let them composed an array, then stand pipe pillars on the caves. It may be the galvanize pipes or bamboos.
2. The pillars buried in ground at lease 50cm； Low end of pillar had better stand on a sinking prevent disk to keep it not getting mired down.
3. Bury anchors with hook out of ground at the surround in each row and each column at lease 1m. The anchor may be a section of iron pipe or cement with wire.
4. Put set caps on the tops of pillars, lay steel wires or ropes vertical and horizontal into the gaps of set caps, closely tightens the lids on the set caps. We pushed steel wires or ropes across through on the tops caps of pillars till the surrounding pillars (at least 2”) then extend to ground anchor and set them firmly.
5. It had better to fasten with tensioners between wire and hook. Tighten wires can support the roof not to droop and make the structure strongly steady on ground.
6. Sewing net to suit area and shape of the net hose framework. Note the net at the gateway must be 2 layers of mutual cover.
7. Fold the net into a big long strip and lay on the top of pillars array.
8. Spread out the net and make its surround sides to droop down till ground.
9. Fix the down edges of drooping net on the ground.
10. Pack a ball in the middle height of the side wall net and fasten the net to ground anchors.
11. The pillars at surround must be bigger than inside pillars to make the structure stronger.
